The art of baking since 1970

Johann Ströck was born in Kittsee in 1922. In 1970, the family moved to Vienna and opened their first bakery there. His son Gerhard took over the business in 1977 and expanded it together with his brother Robert. The opening of the first branch in 1991 marked another milestone – characterised by traditional craftsmanship, regional ingredients and the courage to constantly try new things. Koenig supports the bakery in optimising production processes and producing baked goods of the highest quality.

We like to describe ourselves as an innovative bakery, and for that we need someone who understands our business and knows what we want. The most important thing for us is Koenig's expertise and years of experience.

Andrea Unger-Posch - Head of Marketing at Ströck Brot

Innovation requires partnership

Ströck Brot sees itself as a truly innovative bakery. They are constantly on the lookout for new product ideas and better processes. This requires a partner who not only supplies technology, but also understands the business and requirements of a modern bakery.

Ströck particularly values the flexible cooperation with Koenig, in which planning, changes and further developments are carried out jointly – from modifications to complete process conversions. Koenig’s expertise and experience are particularly important in this regard.

The decades-long collaboration is characterised by mutual respect, trust and the common goal of constantly improving. It is a partnership in which both parties grow together and master the challenges of the market together.

Today, Ströck uses over 80 state-of-the-art rack ovens and more than 10 small baked goods systems from Koenig, ensuring the highest baking quality and absolute consistency throughout the entire production process.

The valuable aspect of the partnership with the Ströck bakery is certainly the long-standing and respectful relationship between the two companies. I believe that such a collaboration can only work if you learn to understand the customer's problems.
