Panaderia Marcelo

Panificadora Marcelo was founded on 5 November 2005 and run by the owners themselves as a small neighbourhood business. With a blend of the finest ingredients, tradition and modern technology, it grew into a modern bakery with 600 employees.

Over the years, Marcelo has managed to win the hearts of families throughout Chile. More than 200 delivery vans deliver baked goods to over 15,000 shops every day, meaning that more than 99,000 households now enjoy the special taste of the products. A dedicated team of professionals ensures that every product is made with love and craftsmanship – a piece of tradition that lives on to this day.

The success story of Marcelo Bakery began as a small neighbourhood business. Today, it has grown into a modern production facility for a wide variety of bread types – from traditional Chilean marraqueta to burger buns, hot dog rolls and pan amasado. The collaboration with Koenig began with the purchase of the Basic Rex, followed by the Combiline in 2016 to increase production capacity.

Thanks to Koenig’s high-performance production lines, a large quantity of bread can be produced every day without compromising on quality. With technical service and individual solutions, Koenig is supporting Marcelo’s growth and its vision of reaching more and more people with fresh, high-quality products.
